A straight backhand drive is the most common way to get the ball into the back backhand corner. This will put you in a fantastic position with your opponent stuck in the corner and you controlling the T.

Key points to play this shot well are:

1. An early racket preparation.
2. Your right foot forward for right-handers with your chest facing the back or sidewall.
3. An open racket face.
4. A swing that follows through the path we want the ball to go.
