Natalie has a chance to attack the front here....and here.....but waits until now! Why?
She is waiting for a ball she feels really comfortable on before she risks hitting into the front. If she always hits short when she gets the chance she will become predictable and her opponent will be onto the ball quicker.
She is working Laura! Laura has to come forward each time and Natalie sends her back again. Do this often enough and you will grind your opponent off the court.
Natalie was patient, worked Laura, kept her guessing and finally picked the right ball to attack and finish the rally.
