This is an extension of the basic drop drive exercise with movement to the other side of the court between each shot. The timing of the feeding is critical, not too slow and high that they can walk but not to quick and low that they have no chance to play a quality shot or even get to the ball!  On the backhand you can feed using your forehand if you find it easier to watch and time the feed.

Develop this by adding three ghosting zones. These may be covered in a set pattern, (for example purple, red, yellow) or extend this further by the feeder calling out a colour to ghost at, as the player recovers to the 'T'. This later routine introduces a randomness which better reflects movement in a match.

Towards the end of the session try 'offset ghosts' to make the brain concentrate under physical duress! If the feeder calls out red then the ghost is to yellow. If the call is yellow move to purple and for purple move to red! In all these variations try and ensure you ghost full imaginary shots to make the movement as realistic as possible!
