Hi I'm Sarah Kippax and I'm going to show you the first of 3 speed drills I use in my warm up to activate your feet. It involves an exercise you do on the spot. As you are going to activate your feet you want fast, quick reaction time off the floor.
I do one set then a decent rest of about a minute and then repeat the drill again. It involves jumping in three different directions and you want to about eight in each direction and move from each direction as fast as you can!
It is one of the last things I do before I go on court once my body is nice and warm to get me reacting off the spot. Then I progress that into other speed exercises right before I start playing.
