For the Figure-of-eight speed work drill I generally do six full figure-of-eights…aiming to keep them all inside thirty seconds and then I have thirty seconds rest. I might do that five times.
It is pretty hard so work at your own pace.
To set up the figure-of-eight speed work drill…start in the front corner…hold the racket by the head.
One full lunge out diagonally towards the opposite corner…reach out and that is the space that you are looking for…the same both sides.
This drill really helps your explosive speed off the mark and also the control of speed to slow yourself down around each racket and I think it is great for any squash player to do!
