The drop shot is the most direct way to put the ball tight into the front corners.

The shot is more of push than a hit so don’t use your wrist to much.

  • Make sure you have your opponent behind you first.
  • Bend your knees and turn to the side wall.
  • Use a short compact swing with an open racket face and a short follow through.
  • Aim to keep the ball close to the sidewall or in the nick.

It great way to move your opponent the length of the court, and it may even turn out to be a winner.
