Here we have the correct grip... the V between thumb and forefinger down the left hand side of the racket, with a bit of a gap between my thumb and forefinger. It is possible to have these things and still get the grip wrong if the racket sits too far into your palm and not enough in the fingers!
This palm grip hinders the movement of the wrist as the but of the racket hits the wrist. This often leads to swinging from the shoulder too much and the wrist wont come through without the wrist closing.
So just check on your grip when you next hold your racket... have you got it more in your fingers or are you holding it too straight along the length of your arm?!
