When a right hander is playing a left hander they will generally start serving from the left service box. This is because they will be serving to the left handers backhand. Backhands tend to be a player's weaker shots, particularly so when the ball is high in the air from a good lob serve.
So assume that the backhand is weaker initially but be open to the fact that their forehand may in fact be the weakest link. This you should be able to work this out as the match progresses.
Also think about serving from the opposite box occasionally to change your opponents routine and rhythm which could get you a quick point or two.
