It is important to make time to practice your shots to develop your racket control and your confidence! Here is a solo routine example you can try next time you have ten minutes or so to practice.

The first exercise is forehand drives into the service box
followed by backhand drives into the service box. Keep it fresh by changing each exercise after one minute: Figure of eight drives around the front corners: Forehand drops from an angled feed: Side-wall drives along the back wall: Backhand drops from an angled feed: Half court straight volleys: Full length drives off the back wall: and finally figure of eight volleys around the front angles

Don't worry if some of the exercises are a bit difficult to start with, with regular practice you will soon master them. This routine should take you just ten minutes. If you have longer on court why not do two or more sets. After completing a set of ten exercises have a short rest and a drink then start the routine again.
