Here is a tip to help you get a good leading edge when you are playing your drives. What a leading edge will do is put a bit of cut on your shot. Players struggle with a swing from high to low and this little drill will help you develop that.

It is a simple drill... bounce the ball on the racket and just try to put a bit of spin on! As you can see that is developing that action of leading with one edge of the racket. If you practice this it will help you put cut on the ball.

It is also the same thing on the backhand. It is a bit tougher this side but again will help develop a little bit of cut with that leading edge. You can see the action is quite similar with the racket coming through here.

Practice that a little bit each day and you will soon get a nice bit of cut on your drives!
