Many sports talk about transfer of weight and it is important for us squash players too. One way to look at transferring your weight into the ball is as if your shot is going to form a 'wedge'.
Start the shot with the thick end of the wedge, staying tall to gather your weight. As you step and lunge in you are going to sink into the shot which will form the thin part of the wedge and it is all going to come to a point as you strike the ball. Your weight transfer is going to help your power as it all goes into the ball.
So from a high standing position sink in to strike the ball at the point of the wedge.
