This solo exercise incorporates volley control over the whole length of the court. As you move up and down the court you will need to adjust the angle of your racket face and the length and punch of your swing all the while moving your feet.
Start near the front wall volleying the ball back to yourself. Gradually move back towards the rear court continually volleying, until you get to the back wall.
Then start at the rear court and volley whilst move forward to the front wall.
Once you have this sussed you are ready to move up and down the court at will keeping the ball in play on the volley.
Hints to help are :
Firm up the wrist on contact with the ball to help you control the ball.,
Keeping your chest facing the side wall will make it easier to keep the ball straight.
Use the height of the front wall will give you time when near the front wall and more distance when at the back.
